Rob Ganger, Founder of Pollinator Media, started Mesh Inc. in 1995, producing the Bryant Gumbel/Walt Disney World Celebrity Golf Tournament (ESPN-TV), which net over $7 million for the United Negro College Fund over a six-year period. Mesh also produced the Jackie Robinson Foundation’s Celebrity Golf Tournament in Los Angeles celebrating the 50th Year Anniversary of Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball. Ganger has produced fundraisers for the Autism Coalition, National Urban League (Golf/Tennis Tournaments) and Stop Cancer (LA Fashion Event), and was also responsible for managing the Cuervo Gold Pro-Am Beach Volleyball Tour from ‘95-’00 (FOX-TV), the largest of its kind in North America. He has worked on promotions for World Cup Soccer and the Barcelona Summer Olympics.
From 2003-2006, Ganger launched The Evolver Project as an incubator, which birthed Evolver, Evolver.net and Reality Sandwich.
In 2006, Ganger launched Pollinator Media consulting and producing events with companies/nonprofits including Sabertec, ISA Tan Tec’s LITE™ Leather, Rolling Razor Inc, Earth Day Dallas, The Dallas International Film Festival and Downtown LA Fashion Week. Pollinator Media also created EcoNouveau an ethical fashion event series that ran for 3 years as part of LA Fashion Week.
Rob was also Executive Producer of the award -winning documentary TRUDELL. The film was featured in over 40 festivals worldwide in 2005 (World Premiering at Sundance, and included Tribeca, SilverDocs and awards in Seattle and Los Angeles) and had a 60-city theatrical run in 2006.
Recently, Rob was a producer of POD TUNE, a compilation fundraiser album featuring artists from nine countries creating an original ambient track, utilizing whale songs in a true human/cetacean collaboration.
In 2017 Rob launched The ATLARGE Music Film Festival in Atlanta Georgia. “A film festival for people who love music,” is just that. A festival that highlights music in film- from biopics, to narratives driven by music, to musicals, to music video blocks, to V.R. to live score performances. ATLARGE’s inaugural event in 2017 featured 24 films, 12 workshops and a live score performance by DJ Spooky. Over 60 luminaries participated in workshops, discussions and Q&A’s including Academy Award Winner Ellen Kuras, Night Flight Founder Stuart Shapiro, Filmmakers Jodi Wille and Jason Orr.
