Trudell
Trudell
Rob served as executive producer helping to raise funds, create the vision/mission of the film, create the world premier party at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival, co-create the branding/design of collateral and website, and co-create the merchandise (apparel) for the film and festival tour. Trudell toured 40 international festivals including Sundance, Tribeca and Silverdocs and won awards at the Seattle Film Festival, in Los Angeles at the Artivist Film Festival and at the oldest american film festival-The Native American Film Festival in San Francisco. Trudell was released theatrically to 60 U.S. cities in 2006. It is currently airing on television on PBS and the sundance channel and continues to tour the globe. John Trudell is a poet, musician, actor, and political activist who has been speaking out on behalf of the Native American people with intelligence and passion since the late '60s. Trudell took part in the 1969 occupation of Alcatraz Island by the activist group Indians of All Tribes, who intended to use the former prison as a school for Native American youth. Trudell eventually became chairman of the American Indian Movement (AIM), which would become the most visible and powerful Native American activist group. During his activist years, Trudell amassed a 17,000 page FBI file in which he is described as "extremely eloquent, therefore extremely dangerous". Trudell turned to poetry and into the realm of social theorist and philosopher to help him express his grief over the death of his family and his concerns over the state of America. He began recording a series of albums that combined lyrics confronting political and personal issues with music that touched on blues, rock, and Native American themes. To this day, John Trudell remains a powerful voice in both political and creative circles. WWW.TRUDELLTHEMOVIE.COM
evolver magazine
Evvolver
Rob gavlanized and organized visionaries Daniel Pinchbeck, Erik Davis, Erika Rand, Dan Siegel and David Latimer to create Evolver Magazine. Evolvers mission was to create a media platform committed to transformative, new edge culture. Evolver magazine was part of larger plan to develop a eco-friendly focused membership organization (AARP for the green world). It was a grand ambition that ultimately birthed EVO.COM. Through grass-roots outreach we received over 800,000 page views on Evolver.net in a 6-month span and it is astonishing how far reaching and influential the prototype magazine turned out to be. Evolver splintered to become evolver.net and realitysandwich.com.

metacine magazine
Lite Leather
Metacine was the pre-cursor to Evolver. Rob challenged the team to get our ideas into a prototype piece that he could showcase at the Sundance Film Festival where 'TRUDELL' was premiering. We felt that there was a hunger for alternative media that could 'present a paradigm for a new planetary culture' with practical tools and provocative storytelling and imagery that could help revision our civilization. Rob circulated the beautiful sample issue in key areas where he knew artists, visionaries, producers etc take notice. Low and behold we had 50,000 hits on our metacine.net site the following week of Sundance. We knew that we were on to something...

Eco Gift Expo
Rob co-created the original concept with Dan Siegel under the Evolver Project Incubator. We found that people everywhere are actively looking for ways to do their part to address the climate changes and environmental degradation that are impacting our planet. Unfortunately, being an environmentally conscious consumer is not as easy as it should be good information is scattered and hard to find. EVO provides a huge selection of green products, services, and information all in one place and has handpicked 400 companies representing more than 20,000 green products and services. From hybrid vehicles to home furnishings, EVOs goal is to make it easy for people to make greener choices every day. Rob helped to hone and shape the vision and to see it through several iterations before its current manifestation. He also spearheaded the development of the brand/identity and name and to bring a team of visionaries together to propel the project to fruition. Rob was the catalyst to launch the brand at the San Francisco Green Festival in 2006 to rave reviews. WWW.EVO.COM
