Rob was responsible for putting together the 2005 World Premiere party at the Sundance Film Festival for 500 guests. Our goal was to create an ‘oasis’ experience at the Festival where people could actually connect with each other and to the vibe and message of the film. Our event was held at a bookstore where organic food and organic wine was served and John performed with his band “Bad Dog” to a full house. It was an unforgettable night and great way to kick off what would ultimately be a tour of 40 International Film Festivals. Rob also coordinated the LA debut of the film at the Artivist Film Festival where he and cinematographer Gilbert Salas accepted the award for ‘Best Humanitarian Film’ in 2005. John Trudell performed live at the legendary Egyptian Theater to cap the night off.
